Nature inspires everything

Yet it gets no credit

Giving Nature the credit it deserves by recognizing it as a co-author of human creations
Nature not just as a resource, but also as a stakeholder.

What is Back to Gaia®?

Back to Gaia® is the first collecting organization designed for Nature.

We manage the “copyright” of non-human species, collecting voluntary contributions from artists, creatives, and companies who draw daily inspiration from Nature to run their businesses, and we redistribute these contributions to projects and people who speak and act on behalf of Nature.

How Back to Gaia works

IDENTIFY

We highlight human works, products, and businesses that are inspired by Nature (in design, music, fashion, art, technology, architecture, sculpture, choreography, innovation, etc.).

COLLECT

We invite companies and creators to voluntarily acknowledge Nature as a co-author and make a free contribution to one of the projects supporting Nature affiliated to Back to Gaia.

REDISTRIBUTE
We make contributions to affiliated projects that defend, regenerate, and support Nature.

ISSUE ETHICAL CERTIFICATES
We issue certificates through which companies or artists officially recognize Nature as a co-author of their artwork, idea, or product. It is an ethical mark inspired by human copyright collecting societies, but dedicated to Nature.
